Annual Speakeasy Gallery Charity Bike Run onJune 4th

The Annual Speakeasy Tattoo Gallery Charity Bike Run is on Sunday June 4th. Dedicated in memory of Nick DellaCroce, all proceeds from the event go to Brothers In Need. There will be live music, raffles, food/drinks, vendors and giveaways starting at 3pm at the Holy Ghost Society in Peabody, Ma.

The Speakeasy Tattoo Gallery is a private tattoo studio in downtown Peabody composed of award-winning artists specializing in styles from black & grey realism to American traditional and new school. The full service studio also provides eyebrow micropigmentation. Owner, Jason Michalak, has a close connection with the Brothers In Need organization and collaborated with them to create this Bike Run. It is a volunteer run North Carolina-based Non-Profit 501c3 comprised of past and present Army Rangers who strive to continue to improve the community.

The event is dedicated in honor of Nick DellaCroce, an 18-year-old Peabody native who was killed two months after graduating high-school when a car crossed five lanes of traffic and struck his motorcycle on Route 114. Jason of Speakeasy Tattoo met Nick in the open mic circuit and hired him to teach his son play drums. Nick was a dedicated musician who shared his passion with his twin brother Jake and their band Time That Remains (TTR). TTR will be playing the after party. Check out their music here.

The run begins at 10:00am at Speakeasy Gallery & Tattoo, located at 119R Foster St. BLDG #3 in Peabody, Ma. Registration is at 9am (LINK HERE). All participants will ride to Wally’s Pub on Hampton Beach for lunch then travel to the after party hosted at The Peabody Holy Ghost Society, located on 20 Howley Street in Peabody Ma.

The Peabody Holy Ghost Society originally served inexpensive meals to the community. It has evolved into a vibrant cultural organization that provides a home to many Portuguese activities sponsored by various cultural and community groups throughout the city.

Hosted by Next Generation Concerts, the after party will be kicked off with a Top 40 through the decades cover band, Keep The Change, followed by Time That Remains band. There will be food, drinks and raffles throughout the event. Check out the menu here.
